I just watched the film "Life of Pi". Check it out it is a really enjoyable film.
I was amazed at how this person was able to know the maths number of PI to such a long length. I am terrible at maths so anything like that always makes me jealous.
I remember a friend of mine telling me how to remember the first seven digists of PI and if you want to impress your friends I will share it with you.
To remember the first seven digits of pi, count the number of letters in each word of the sentence:
"How I wish I could calculate pi."
This becomes 3.141592.
Takes a bit of practice but you will be surprised how quick it sticks in your head.
Go ahead and give it a try.
